Comparing with normal centrifugal pump, Multistage Centrifugal Pump contains two or more impellers. Multistage Centrifugal Pump also called Multistage Pump. It normally used to pump water, also called high pressure water pump. To get higher pressures at the outlet, impellers will be connected in series. To higher flow output, impellers will be connected parallel. The several grades impeller highly increase the flow’s pressure and speed.
According to installation, multistage centrifugal pump is divided into vertical multistage centrifugal pump and horizontal type multistage centrifugal pump. And according to the pump material, it has steel multistage centrifugal pump and stainless multistage centrifugal pump. For s.s. multistage centrifugal pump, the inside impeller, casing and other main components are all made of stainless steel. Normally CDL is stainless steel pump.
